🏀 Product & Compatibility

Almost certainly yes. Pure Switches is completely free-standing — it never clamps, bolts or hangs onto your hoop. The telescopic tripod stands behind the baseline and adjusts to fit rims set anywhere from 8 to 10 ft. It works with in-ground hoops, portable hoops, wall-mounted hoops and full gym systems.

Both. The extra-wide catch net surrounds the rim and backboard area, so it collects makes that drop through the net AND misses that bounce off the rim or board. Only severe airballs that miss everything will land outside the net — and if you're throwing those, you need the practice volume even more. 😄

Every ball caught by the net funnels down into the 180° rotating return chute. You aim the chute at your shooting spot — corner, wing, free-throw line, top of the key — and the ball rolls or low-bounces back to you within seconds. Changing spots? Re-aim the chute by hand in about one second.

Yes — Pure Switches is built for driveways and outdoor courts. The frame is powder-coated steel with aluminum poles, and the netting is weather-resistant. For maximum lifespan we recommend storing it in the included carry bag during heavy rain, snow or long periods of non-use, just like any outdoor sports equipment.

All of them — sizes 3 through 7, indoor and outdoor balls. Kids' balls, women's official size 6, men's official size 7: the net and chute handle them all.

Very much so — youth players are our biggest user group. The pole adjusts down to fit 8 ft junior rims, and kids love that the ball keeps coming back: more touches, more fun, no parent stuck rebounding for an hour. We recommend an adult handles setup for children under 12.

🔧 Setup & Use

Honestly: your first setup takes about 10 minutes following the illustrated guide. After you've done it two or three times, it's around 3 minutes — unfold the tripod, extend the pole, clip on the net frame, slot in the four support poles, aim the chute. No tools are ever needed; everything locks with quick-release knobs.

You can — many customers with private driveways do. If your court is shared or exposed to strong wind, we recommend folding it down between sessions (it takes 2 minutes and packs flat into the carry bag).

Yes. The whole system breaks down into four flat, compact parts that fit in the included mesh carry bag and lie easily in a car trunk or back seat. It's a one-person carry.

No. The net sits below and around the rim's rebound zone, and the tripod stands under the basket — outside your shooting line from every spot on the floor. You shoot over and into it exactly as you would at a normal hoop.

📈 Training Results

Simple, verifiable math. Shooting alone, a full shot cycle (shoot → chase → return → reset) takes 16–22 seconds, yielding roughly 180–200 shots per hour. With Pure Switches returning the ball to your spot, the cycle drops to about 5 seconds — 600–800+ shots in the same hour. Time yourself before your Pure Switches arrives, then after.

Shooting improvement is a direct function of quality reps. Players going from ~200 to ~600+ shots per session typically report noticeable consistency gains within 3–4 weeks of regular use. The net doesn't fix your form — it multiplies whatever work you put in.

Not at all. Half our customers are parents who bought it so their kids get more out of driveway time (and so they don't have to rebound all evening). The other half are competitive players and coaches chasing volume. Anyone who shoots alone benefits from the ball coming back.
